Whitehouse School of Design visit
Year 10 Design and Technology students enjoyed a day of learning 'How to Fashion Draw' recently with the Whitehouse School of Design.
It was a practical and intensive day, including a wide range of activities including an overview of job opportunities in the fashion industry, drawing garments on a fashion figure, rendering techniques and layout and design presentation techniques.
At the end of the day a scholarship was awarded to the student who showed creativity, flair and interesting in designing. This is a one-week scholarship to attend the Whitehouse School of Design's 'Introductory Fashion Design and Fashion Drawing'. This year the scholarship was awarded to Lauren Wilkes and two highly commended awards were awarded to Claudia Luck and Brittany Dodd.
