The College Hat returns

After much discussion, including consultation at a P&F Meeting in 2014, we have introduced a College hat as part of the uniform.

At this stage it is only required for Year 7 students and the girls must wear it when they are in the sun. They are encouraged to wear it to and from school also. Girls in other Year groups may order a hat from the Uniform Shop if they wish.

The purpose of the hat is sun protection - living in a country where we have many months of harsh sun exposure, it makes sense to protect ourselves, as we know there can be serious long-term health effects from excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays.
