MSB volunteer at the Australian Transplant Games

During the term break a number of our Year 10 students volunteered at the Australian Transplant Games in Western Sydney following a presentation at the 2015 MSB Sports Presentation Assembly by former MSB student and staff member Michelle Daley.

The girls assisted across a range of days and sports including athletics, bowling, cycling, volleyball and Pétanque. Michelle was awarded the female athlete of the Games this year bringing home 15 gold medals across four different sports. MIchelle wrote to the College “As both an ex-student and ex-teacher of Mount St Benedict College, it meant so much to see the Bennies spirit of stewardship in action in such a tangible way”.
