MSB Day SHARE - LISTEN - ACT

Each year, Mount St Benedict College celebrates the Feast Day of St Benedict at the conclusion of Term Two. The community day is eagerly anticipated each year by both students and staff at the College.

The 2018 theme, Share – Listen – Act sought to draw attention to our strength as a College community and was reflected in the day’s activities, beginning with Eucharist, followed by a hospitality picnic with food trucks and fun student-led activities before finishing with a student talent quest. There was an emphasis from the student leaders on the importance of engaging with the story of others and ensuring a response with empathy and compassion in the College’s Year of Hospitality.

“I always look forward to MSB Day, and I am really grateful to be able to celebrate as a community with all of you. There will be many opportunities to share in meaningful conversations and listen to one another, so make sure you are seizing those opportunities to practise hospitality. Listen to one another, and approach all activities with a positive attitude. If you do, I can guarantee an incredible and memorable day.” Jaime Dunn, 2018 College Captain.
