Beyond Bennies

Job growth in the aged care, health and science fields and a greater demand for project management, product management and creative skills were forecast to be a big part of MSB girls’ future career options at the annual Beyond Bennies Assembly last week. The College was honoured to welcome back two ex-students from the Class of 1985 to share their career journeys. Jane Huxley, MD of Pandora Internet Radio and Megan Turner (nee Mullins) who spoke about her early career in the RAAF inspired the girls with their achievements and advice.

The girls were encouraged to keep being curious and ask questions, stick to their values, stay connected to their friends for professional networking and listen to the people around them - parents / teachers / close family friends who are their mentors, guiding them on their life journey.
