Bennies finish 3rd at All Schools KO Athletics Championships

Amie Bowrey, Year 9, shouldered a tremendous amount of our events, winning the Shot Put (PB), 2nd in Javelin, 4th Hurdles (PB). Samantha Dale, Year 9, won the High Jump with a jump of 1.6m, a new PB. Jemma Gallagher, Year 10, ran a great 800m as did Alicia John, Year 8.

Our sprinters Valeria Bablinyuk, Year 9, Jasmine Rheinberger, Year 8, and our only Year 7 team member, Kiera Walkerden gained us valuable points in the 100m and 200m events, as did Courtney Harkin, Year 11, in the Long Jump.

We now await the official confirmation that this team has qualified for Nationals which would be the sixth consecutive year that an MSB team has qualified for these Australian Titles.
