2021 HSC Results - Mount St Benedict College Ranked 82nd in the State
‘Challenging Our Choices, Enriching Our Legacy’.
The Class of 2021 continued the record of strong HSC results at Mount St Benedict College, Pennant Hills. Guided by their theme for 2021 of ‘Challenging Our Choices, Enriching Our Legacy’, the Year 12 students distinguished themselves through their commitment to their studies and in developing outstanding partnerships with their dedicated teachers in a challenging year like no other.
The College was ranked as the 82nd best performing school in NSW*.
Four students were named on the All Rounders List, recognising the achievement of a Band 6 [or its equivalent] in ten HSC units [including English]. The girls were Alvina Hasty, Tahlia Lee, Gabriella Puglisi and Madeleine Sylvester.
Madeleine Sylvester achieved the highest known ATAR at the College of 99.00.
61% of the Class of 2021 received early university offers.
The College Principal, Mr Michael Hanratty, congratulated the students on their results.
“These results are a testament to their hard work during the most uncertain of times and embody our Learning Framework Graduate Attribute to be courageous,” Mr Hanratty said. “I commend our professional and dedicated staff who worked above and beyond to support the Class of 2021. I also pay tribute to our Year 12 families for their partnership and support, particularly through a term of distance learning.”
“These are young women who will be leaders of the future - articulate, confident and intelligent decision-makers.”
There was one student with two Top Placements in the State:
• Georgiana Dumapit - 6th Place in Studies of Religion I
• Georgiana Dumapit - 17th Place in Biology
The College had 151 mentions on the 2021 Distinguished Achievers List.
An estimated 25% of the eligible cohort achieved an ATAR over 90.
